Creating the logo

I have looked at other brand logos and created my own to fit in with these conventional styles.

To create the shaped box, I used the pen tool to draw out my shape, then added a gradient layer underneath in blue. I then cropped around my shape, leaving my with the part of the gradient that I wanted

In this screen shot, you can see where I have added blending options that bring out the logo, making it stand out more.

Naming my product

I have looked at names of other products on the market and their packaging. So, before I start designing my own packaging I need to have named it. I went to the Lush website for inspiration, then I went to the french version of the site. The french versions of the names sounded classier and more professional. This is why I have decided to name my product, Savon Magique.

Editing together

I've edited together the clips in sequence, the transition between the first and second scene is to give the impression of looking back into the past, like a flashback.

Filming

Today I filmed some of the shots for my final advert. I took several shots of each scene so that I had enough to work with when it came to filming.

                                          

                                         

Product Design

I have been looking at products already on the market and analysing the packaging so that I can make mine as authentic as possible by following the conventions on the packaging labels.

Test shot and filming

I want to have my shots consisting of just the hands from a first person view, as I want the focus of my advert to be on just the hands. My attempt consisted of waring the camera around my neck level with my hands. However this meant that every time they moved their hands the camera would also move.

After this, I tried taking the film from over the shoulder, which worked just fine so long as the hands were right in front of the actor. This means I will have to adapt my shots to make sure that just the hands are visible in every shot. 

Setting the scene

For two of my adverts I need to have a scene set up using a doll's house. I have set up both of the locations so that they are ready for recording when I can film with the actors

As they are both set up in the same room of the doll's house I will have to do the filming on different occasions so that no one is left waiting.
